What about throttling/braking? So, in ETS2 you can use mouse as a steering wheel (moving it leftwards will cause to steer left, moving it rightwards will cause to steer right). I wonder if there is a program or something like that, that allow you to configure it so that moving it frontwards/backwards will cause to throttle/brake. Any advice?
First the pedals in your software shouldn't be in combined, they are supposed to be in separated. Second: Do the tutorial again after checking that the pedals are in separated mode, check in the settings every axel is correct. By pressing the throttle, brake, steering right and left and so on. Thanks Ill try it. #2.
Re: Logitech G920 - Brakes not working. Not sure about the red line, as I cannot see any. I can, however, see a yellow line when I press down on the brake when viewing the settings. Also, when I open Joy.CPL for the wheel/pedals and push them down to see if they respond when calibrating, all of them do. Although, the brake pedal is impossible
I had an old sidewinder wheel that I unfortunately had to throw out because it was just too old to use with any newer games so I'm looking for a new wheel. I don't really want to spend $150 on one. Maybe around like $50? It doesn't have to be top of the line or anything, just enough to play with minimal keyboard input.
I am struggling to get my dfgt to work properly with ets2, when i rotate the wheel the in game steering will rotate at the same rate as the wheel only half way through the rotation, then at halfway the in game steering will go straight to full lock with only 1 degree of extra rotation. I have watched a few tutorials, no success. i have my steering set to 900 degrees in the logitech software
Try this: on the controls menu, see which one is the axis coresponding to the throttle / gas pedal, and change the setting from normal to inverted. #4. Sergei Jan 7, 2017 @ 9:34am. its inverted, iam played this game before, so i know this but its still same. Last edited by Sergei ; Jan 7, 2017 @ 9:35am. #5.
Then go to [Control Panel>View Hardware and Devices>Right click on PXN V9, it should look like a keyboard, not a controller. > Game controller settings> Properties. ] Once you've navigated to there, run the manual calibration in the video tutorial mentioned above. It should be good as new. You're welcome.
